Terms of Service for Lessons with Lori
Last updated: July 2026
Hi, I’m Lori. These are the terms for Lessons with Lori, powered by Hey Lori, LLC. Plain language, no fine-print games.
The basics
By subscribing to or reading Lessons with Lori, you agree to these terms. This publication runs on Substack, so their terms apply too, alongside mine. You should be 16 or older to subscribe, which is Substack’s requirement too.
My content is mine
Everything I write and create here, the posts, the words, the images, is mine. You’re welcome to read it, share links to it, and forward it to people who need it. But please don’t copy, repost, or republish my work as your own. If you want to quote or reference something, just credit me and link back.
Your content is yours
If you comment, reply, or post in any community space, that’s your voice and you own it. By posting it here, you’re giving me permission to display it within the publication. Keep it respectful, keep it real, and don’t post anything that isn’t yours to share.
House rules
This is a space for honest, kind conversation. Be decent to each other. No spam, no self-promotion, no harassment, no unsolicited advice, and no using this space to sell or pitch. I reserve the right to remove comments or ban anyone who makes this space worse for everyone else.
A note on content
Everything I share is based on my own experience, research, and opinions. It’s for education and connection, not professional advice.
My writing on peptides and wellness is not medical advice. Talk to a qualified professional before making decisions about your health.
My writing on grief and loss is personal reflection, not therapy or crisis support. If you’re struggling, please reach out. In the US, you can call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, anytime.
You’re responsible for your own choices. I share what I’ve lived and learned, but you act on it at your own discretion.
Paid subscriptions
If I add paid subscriptions later, payments are handled by Substack and Stripe. Any billing terms will be spelled out clearly at that time.
Changes
I may update these terms as this space grows. If I make a meaningful change, I’ll note it here with a new date.
